No doubt this is the most bizarre review I've ever written about a product, because not only do not buy this leaf blower from Amazon – I picked up free at the local landfill. Here's the story:

Some years ago I bought a Poulan Pro BVM200LE and ran perfectly until death too soon after what I used as a moderate. (Click above to click on "View all my reviews" and worked until my Poulan Pro review entitled "Great, until his death.") I decidednot to replace my dead Poulan Poulan another, so that my search began for the "perfect" leaf blower.

After reading several reviews here, on other sites, and some consumer magazines, I have restricted my choices to a few brands in the range of $ 165-200. I almost pulled the trigger on a purchase, but I had to carry a load of waste to local landfills prior to closure. There I discovered what looked like a leaf blower, among other elements used.

TheLandfill regs clearly "No Scavenging", but if the supervisor looked away that I have a fast line, and dug a FL1500LE Weed Eater leaf blower. Water ran out of the tube, as I took the car, so was hoping that it works. A closer look reveals a lot of corrosion on a few metal parts visible, so that told me my "prize was" probably in the open for some time.

After I got home and then some time playing with this thing, I did once on the visualcheck. The road seemed OK – no missing parts and no cracks in plastic. There were also some gas in the tank. It took some effort to draw the line, even in half, then he will not return, but. I had the plastic a couple of times necessary to reach to pull the cord. I fiddled with a couple of times and finally get up and running more or less well.

Now it's time for the examination itself. I primed the bulb, the choke and gas, then pulled. There was no evidence of wantinglive again. The next draw, beginning! So, I immediately went to work blowing off the driveway for gas in the tank was. I have fresh gas (mixture, of course), and continued blowing the driveway, shrub beds, etc., etc., for at least half an hour or more. Worked well. For several weeks is to determine how and result in good.

Here's how this model compared to my Weed Eater Poulan Pro, while still working for:

Lightweight construction. Comments here onthe grip is correct. This is a plastic handle, screwed to the plastic wrap and try to break would change. The Poulan has a stable, rock-solid feel.

Harder to pull start. Both the Weed Eater and Poulan begin the first or second pull, but the need Weed Eater attract more problems. (Compression ratio higher, perhaps?) Can the bottom of the place Poulan my lap and just pull the rope to start it. I can not with this Weed Eater. It must be keptfirmly on the ground with one hand on the handle, then pull the cord hard with your other hand. My wife was able to start quickly and easily Poulan, it is very difficult for them to pull the cord Weed Eater.

The Weed Eater is much stronger than the Poulan. If the value of his hearing, wear earplugs if you buy good / use of this Weed Eater.

Blowing is about the same. This Weed Eater will be evaluated to ensure over 150 mph, is the nominal 205 mph Poulan Frankly, I can not tell the difference. Well, I onlyUse a leaf blower on hard surfaces: the street, sidewalk, shrub beds, decorative rock on top of the roof and gutters. For this type of use, Weed Eater is very windy. I blow the leaves on the lawn – the calculation is faster. My guess is that the best of the Poulan Weed Eater should do is blowing leaves from the lawn.

The Weed Eater is vibrating much more than the race Poulan with medium-high speed.

Since I have no idea how the grassEater FL1500LE when it was new, or because the owner threw them in a landfill, the above comparison is not valid. However, considering that I pay for nothing, and it works well, even after apparently outside for some time left, then thrown in the rubble, I think 4 stars is fair.

If this is a taking a few seasons, I would also buy a Weed Eater leaf blower.

Chinese Quality – Demolition Man – Kentwood MI
Very interesting, which is 2 years warranty, I took 19 months. Although purchase spare parts and also fix will cavil at the cost affective.
Like most posters, I had problems from day one starter cord. You have the option of 50/50 they are coming back as it should be!
A low price is not a cost savings, if the product works well. Spend a little more money and avoid this product!

Second one died, too – S. Carpenter – Georgia
I believe in second chances, but this does not deserve. Just as it took its predecessor, has the cable and the car is not worth repairing, even if only one in years.

Weedeater Featherlite is too quality to purchase – don’t do it! – Mike Karnes –
I only use this fan for a few minutes a week, and within the first season of use the engine would sputter and die. Would begin this randomly and not new, until it is completely cooled. Now the cable is not revoked, so there is no way to start it. E 'garbage!
